Note that the official teaching language at both the undergraduate and graduate level is French, but accommodations for English speakers can be made at the graduate level.
A degree from our undergraduate programs in Biochemistry and Molecular medicine or Bioinformatics will open numerous career opportunities in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, the health sciences or teaching and it is an excellent preparation for graduate studies in a number of disciplines. Our graduate programs in Biochemistry and Bioinformatics offer two options. The classic program is focused on research and the second option (Professional Master’s program) is oriented towards the labor market and this second option includes an internship program.
Graduate students in the first option take part in research activities and most continue their studies at the Ph.D. level. The employment opportunities for our graduates in industry, government or academic research are excellent. We also offer a program at the postdoctoral level in clinical biochemistry that prepares for employment in analytical laboratories in hospitals and in the private sector.
