ThemesAnalysis of gene expression using single molecule approaches. We use imaging techniques to study the mechanisms and kinetics of different processes along the gene expression pathway in yeast and higher eukaryotes. In particular, we combine single molecule techniques and quantitative analysis methods with mathematical modeling to gain better understanding of the general rules governing the expression of genes in complex systems. |
